The two front doors have piano hinges with magnetic catches, with two adjustable shelves behind, along with a self-closing drawer with a removable felt liner and removable felt jewelry tray. The two side doors each have a mirror, push latch and felt-lined interior, and twelve hooks. The 3 bottom drawers have self-closing guides and a cherry color interior. The bottom drawer is cedar-lined. The ring hardware has an antique pewter color.
Finish: Black Cherry: this finish emulates the vibrancy of the warm cherry finish shining from beneath the Black Cherry patina and includes subtle distressing which exemplifies the heirloom nature of the collection. Custom bar pulls and ring hardware features antique pewter color.
Maraschino Cherry: finished using natural grain Cherry veneers showcasing the dramatic cathedral structure with the selective inclusion of naturally occurring knots to deliver a rich warm cherry finish and a smooth sophisticated aesthetic.

Drawer Construction:
Hooker Furniture offers full height, full depth and full width drawers for maximum storage capacity. All drawers have strong, time-tested English or French dovetail construction, for years of problem-free use. Plywood drawer bottoms are attached to plywood.
Finish Construction:
Finish Construction: Hooker Furniture utilizes a multiple-step finish process of up to 16 finish steps. This results in an unsurpassed clarity, depth and color richness and durability to our finishes. Through hand-craftsmanship such as rubbing and padding, our finishes feel as good as they look, with a smoothness that is delightful to the touch.
Frame Construction:
Hooker Furniture uses carefully chosen solid wood and select wood veneers over durable wood products in our furniture construction. Use of veneers enables more decorative looks unattainable with solid wood. Veneers are used over durable wood products such as medium density fiberboard (MDF) and particle board, made of renewable resources. MDF and particle board are used in quality furniture for areas that need to be stable, such as large surfaces. These durable wood products do not expand and contract with heat and cold and do not absorb moisture as much as solid wood, which results in stronger and longerlasting furniture.
Headquartered in Martinsville, Va. where we maintain a corporate office and several distribution facilities, Hooker Furniture employs around 800 people at our Virginia and North Carolina locations. Our high-fashion custom upholstery by Sam Moore Furniture is manufactured in Bedford, Va. Much of our upscale leather upholstery line is manufactured in Hickory, N.C. by Bradington-Young. Hooker also imports an extensive line of wood bedroom, living room accents, dining room, home office and home entertainment furniture and some leather furniture from factories around the world. These include factories in Asia, Mexico and Central America. The design and engineering of these imported furnishings is all carefully overseen by Hooker or Bradington-Young in compliance with our high quality standards.
Hooker is known as an active, contributing corporate citizen in the Virginia and North Carolina communities in which we work and live.
